10 Day Chimp and Gorilla Safari to Uganda

Day 01: Entebbe

Arrival in Entebbe. On arrival you will be met by your guide and vehicle and drive to Kibale Forest (7 hours) with lunch en route. Overnight Ndali Lodge or Kyaninga Lodge.

Day 03: Chimp Trek

Drive Kibale Forest, treks for chimpanzees and other primates, overnight Ndali Lodge or Kyaninga Lodge.

Day 04:Queen Elizabeth Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, afternoon game drive to camp. Overnight at Mweya Lodge.

Day 05: Chimp Trek

Morning game drive. Mid morning board the launch for a cruise on Kazinga Channel. Return to the lodge for lunch. A second chimpanzee trek can be arranged at Kyambura Gorge. Overnight Mweya Lodge.

Day 06-08: Bwindi National Park

Morning walk or optional visit to bat caves. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – home to Mountain Gorillas and other rare primates. Two days of gorilla trekking. 3 nights Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 09: Mbarara Plains
Drive to Mbarara. If time permits, visit local market, where everything imaginable is on sale. Overnight Mihingo Lodge.

Day 10: Departure
Depart by road to Entebbe. Transfer to the airport for an afternoon flight to Nairobi. Onward overnight flight.
